Below is a basic overview of the Sand & Refinishing process.

  1. Floor Assessment - Inspection of the floor prior to work being commenced to assess best approach and options available.

  2. Preparation - At the beginning of the job prepare the area to ensure the surrounding area is protected and that there is a clean, safe work space.

  3. Professional Sanding - Using the best quality sanding equipment, dust extraction and abrasives the floor will be meticulously sanded. The sanding process is virtually dust free so no excessive dust and unnecessary mess.

  4. Repairs (If Needed) - Gaps, cracks and small holes can be filled using the fine sanding dust from the floor and a filling compound to seamlessly blend in with the rest of the floor.

  5. Floor Finish - When choosing your finish it is important to understand what colour or tone you are hoping to achieve and what products would work best for the floor based on usage. We work with a variety of top quality brands such as; Bona, Osmo, Junckers, Pallmann , Rubio Monocoat and Morrell’s to name a few.
