The simple answer is no, it is not dusty. We use top quality Kunzle & Tasin sanding equipment which are connected to vacuums for dust extraction and leave the work environment virtually dust free. We also take the time to prepare the work area, covering any nearby furniture or items such as fireplaces/curtains with polythene sheets to keep the work area clean and tidy.
-
Once we have surveyed the floor and agreed on what finish you would like then we will begin the process of sanding. The aim is to sand off any pre-existing finish and remove any scratches, scrapes or tarnishes from the floor and sand the floor to a point where it is smooth and even. From there we can apply the desired finish to the floor.
-
As part of your No Obligation property visit we can discuss options for finishes and can arrange for samples to give you an idea of what your floor could look like. A patch test can also be arranged.

A Patch Test is a small area of your floor, which you are happy to have sanded and sample colours applied.
